Digital signage is not a new concept. But the trend is that a rapidly growing number of businesses, educational institutions, healthcare etc. are using this both for promotional purposes and for spreading information in an effective way. What we have seen over the years is that the actual hardware needed for this has become reasonably priced. However, the solutions to publish content is expensive and very hard and complicated to use.
